Xpress Cryogenics was launched as the Bulk and Specialty Gases Division of Central Welding Supply in 2003, primarily as a means to provide better service, gas volumes, and gas pressures to the growing laser cutting / metal cutting markets. However, it quickly expanded into gas supply systems for supply of bulk welding shielding gases, beverage gases, food packaging, laboratories, and many other customer-specific applications.
The Xpress Cryogenics advantage is the flexibility and ability to customize gas systems to match customer needs precisely and efficiently, regardless of their volume, site logistics, mode of delivery, gas or liquid pressures, or amount of use points. |

Though the trucks, manifolds, monitoring and gas delivery equipment is highly technical and complicated, the over arching concept and goal for Xpress Cryogenics is extremely simple:
Deliver a flexible, better quality gas and cryogenic product to customers that eliminates or minimizes typical gas loss waste, eliminates or minimizes labor and cylinder handling costs, and takes the job of managing gas supply out of the hands of the user completely.
Proof of the success of this concept of permanent and semi-permanent bulk and micro-bulk systems stationed at customer sites, and piped directly to customer use-points, is best illustrated by how quickly the technology has been embraced by our Puget Sound area customers: In less than a decade Xpress Cryogenics has grown from one 3300 gallon Liquid Nitrogen cryogenic delivery tanker and a handful of customers to four tankers in service for Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide, two dedicated high-pressure specialty gases delivery trucks, and over ONE HUNDERED customer installations. Xpress Cryogenics delivers over SIX MILLION cubic feet of gas and cryogenic liquid every month (and growing).
